As summer draws to a close, the men of Beta Theta PI prepare for Formal Rush here at Truman State University. Rush will start Friday, September 5, 2008. We encourage you take some time this summer, before the hectic start of your first year of college, to consider joining a fraternity. Don’t just jump to stereotypical conclusions of fraternity life and the quick decision of “fraternity life isn’t for me.” Fraternity Life at Truman is different from many of the stereotypes commonly associated with being in a fraternity.
Brother John Sturgeon, Truman State '08, has been selected by the Truman Chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society for the National Graduate Fellowship.
On Friday, February 1, 2008, the Men of Zeta-Xi welcomed Alpha-Alpha Class into Beta Theta Pi. After a very successful Spring Rush 2008, we are happy to present these eight fine men: Chris Arns, Will Burgess, Brett Falkner, Mike Rodriguez, Collin Koenig, Josh Peterson, Shawn Shinneman, and Sam Straatmann. We would also like to thank rush chair Kyle Busch and assistant rush chair Ben Stubbs on a wonderful recruitment as well as all the Brothers who helped out during this semester's rush week.
Once again, congratulations Alpha-Alpha Class!
