Zeta Xi relies on a heritage of strong leadership to bring it to the forefront of fraternities at Truman State University. We thank the following brothers, alumni and professors for giving freely of their time and service to our chapter.
The chapter president serves as an internal guiding force of the fraternity and as a main liaison to the the university and surrounding community. Tim is a biology major from O'Fallon, MO. He previously served the chapter as chorister. He is a graduate of Beta Wilderness Challenge.
The Vice-President is in charge of day to day chapter operations by governing Ways and Means meetings and is the head of internal conflict resolution through the kai comittee. Joey previously served the chapter as treasurer and is a graduate of the John Wooden Institute for Men of Principle and Futures Quest (NIC). He is a accounting major from St. Charles, MO.
The secretary is in charge of all chapter records and national correspondance. Steve is a business marketing major from St. Louis, MO. He previously served as the IFC chair and is a graduate of the John Wooden Institute for Men of Principle.
The treasurer is in charge of all chapter finances and dues collection. John is a accounting major from Kirkwood, MO. He previously served as the special events chair and is a graduate of the John Wooden Institute for Men of Principle.
The pledge educator is responsible for new member education. Jake is a history major from Decatur, IL. He previously served as the social chairman and is a graduate from the Wooden Institute for Men of Principle.
The risk manager executes many of Zeta Xi's risk management policies, ensuring that the brothers of the chapter stay safe. Kurt is a biology major from Foley, MO. He previously served as philanthropic chairman and is a graduate from the Wooden Institute for Men of Principle and Futures Quest (NIC).
The recruitment chair is responsible for running rush and our year round recruitment. Kyle previously served as the parental relations chair and is a graduate from the Institute for Men of Principle. He lives in Decatur, IL.
Dr. Tigner, who has served as Zeta Xi’s chapter counselor since 1996, is one of our greatest assets. The department chair of Truman's Psychology program, he graduated cum laude from Hanover College and is a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He received his doctorate from the Ohio State University in cognitive/experimental psychology. He was awarded the Advisor of the Year award at the 2005 General Convention, the highest award given to an advisor, and one of the highest awards given to a non-beta by the General Fraternity. Dr. Tigner lives in Kirksville, with his wife Diane and son Jack. When not otherwise occupied, Dr. Tigner can be found with his xbox 360, playing Halo 3.
A professor of Psychology here at Truman, Dr Conner's guidance has been invaluable in continuing the Zeta Xi chapter's excellence in risk management.
Eric or "Yurko" is serving in his first year as our financial advisor. An alumnus of the chapter (Mu Class), he served as a Vice-President and Treasurer. He graduated in spring 2005 with a degree in Finance. He currently lives in Kansas City and works at Ernst & Young, a big four accounting firm.
Sam is an alumnus of our chapter (Theta Class) and serves as our recruitment advisor. He previously served as Alumni Chair, Special Events Chair, and Assistant Treasurer. He currently lives in Kansas City and works for the Cerner Corporation.
Marc is serving his second year as our pledge education advisor. An alumnus (Mu Class) and past President and Recruitment chair, Marc graduated in 2005 with a double major in Economics and Management.
